Race day is creeping ever closer with less than a week until we embark on the 94km journey through the leafy suburbs of Johannesburg. We at Click Foundation are beyond excited to have you riding with and for us on this momentous day. Thank you all for choosing to ride for such a great purpose. Your pedals power our purpose!
Please take some time to read through the following very important updates:
Donation and Fundraising
A minimum of R2,000 needs to be raised and deposited by latest Friday the 10th of November. Race packs can only be collected once we have received proof of payment. Please make sure payment is made before collecting the packs. There is no ceiling on how much you can raise, in fact the person who raises the most will receive a prize to say thank you. Please see that you use the below banking details with the reference: 947 [Intital.Surname].
A reminder of what the prizes are:
1st Prize: Accommodation at Ellerman House for two people for two nights including airport transfers, fully inclusive breakfast, laundry, all beverages including spirits and beer, fully stocked in-room bar, a 24h guest pantry, daily sunset cocktails and canápes
2nd Prize: Vintage wine valued at over R2,000
Race Packs – Collection at Click Offices
Please don’t collect your packs from the Dome, I have arranged for all The Click Foundation riders’ race packs to be delivered to our office. Your race packs will be available for collection from our offices between the 16th & 17th of November between 9am and 5pm. Our offices are located at ATA Capital, 9th Floor, 90 Grayston Drive, Sandton. If you have ordered any additional merchandise/race chips these will also be included in your race pack. Your Click Foundation gift packs, which include your shirts and pink tutu’s, amongst other gifts, will be paired with your race packs for collection.
Post-Race – Hospitality Event
There will be a post-race event held for The Click Foundation Riders at 21 Suikerbossie, 80 Mount Street, Bryanston. It is easily accessible from the finish line. It will start at 12.30 and continue throughout the afternoon. Feel free to come through once you have completed the race. There are facilities to shower as well as safe and ample parking available. Please can you RSVP to Colleen Williams – firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday the 10th November 2017. It’s very important that we get an idea of numbers beforehand. Please let us know if you shall be bringing a partner. There is no need to bring anything.
Half Way Stop – Just Before Dunkeld Shopping Centre
The half way stop is a great opportunity for friends and family to support all The Click Foundation Riders’ whilst enjoying a braai and some cold beverages while our riders push for the finish. Please feel free to invite your friends and family to join. It will be located just before the Dunkeld Shopping Centre – look out for the Click flags.
The Click Foundation has received an 8.25am start time. For those of you that have been seeded below this time please note that you can choose to ride with your batch, or drop back and start with the Click Foundation’s batch.
