Kelebogile Pieterson

Office Administrator

Click Foundation-23

I was born and bred in Soweto.  I am currently residing in Lenasia.  I am the last born of two girls.  Growing up was not easy especially with a single parent. Having a mother whom is always praying, and motivating us, has always made a difference and gave me surety that through hard work, I can achieve anything.  The attitude of gratitude was instilled in me since birth by a passionate single mother and today I can firmly say that her words and teachings are what made me who I am.

I matriculated in 2009, at Phahama Secondary, which is situated in a small town, in the west of Joburg, called Mohlakeng, in Randfontein. When my mother could not afford to take me to university, I decided to go look for a job and I landed my first job at Kauai juice, as a cashier. A year went past until I realised that I am such a talented/inquisitive person and I needed more stimulation. I applied for a government fund to study and got an opportunity that didn’t go well. I studied Information Technology (Programming) for one year.

I connected with the Click Foundation, in 2015, as a facilitator, at Parkhurst Primary School. Later in the same year, I joined the Click Foundation and was appointed as a regional administrator for Johannesburg and 10 months into that new role, I was promoted as an Office Administrator.

One thing I would do if I had an extra hour: I would go bungee jumping

Things I like:  Watching sports and trying out different cuisines

One place I would like to visit in the world: Paris, to go shopping.

Quote I live by:

Always pray to have eyes that sees the best in people

A heart that forgives the worst

A mind that forgets the bad

And a soul that never loses hope’
